Jesse Enkamp just did a YouTube video with Bas Rutten that has a lot of really high level advice for throwing a more powerful strike. I don't know how valuable it is to a layman, but as a dueling people enjoyer it's an incredible resource on striking from a champion caliber MMA fighter
