its a short temp ban though, you can check the general hexbear modlog(link at the bottom of pages) or see it for a specific user by clicking the arrow next to a post/comment of theirs like
although that shows moderation actions against a user by any instance and doesn't specify which
I'm glad it's just a short temp ban. I know they posted some fake stuff, but they were also one of the biggest posters of stuff on hexbear. You all need to carry your weight and post more so I have more stuff to read or watch lol.
Are you even a real hexbear if you haven't picked up a few bans?
Just perma-ban them from serious communities like /c/news and such if they continue it after the ban IMO. Let them continue posting things they're good at without allowing the crankery where it doesn't belong.
I'm not disputing that some of the links recently were questionable, but genuine question here, where are the rules for the comm????

I think they were banned for stuff they posted in c/news which does have comm specific rules, but the reason for the ban given in the modlog is breaching the sitewide rule 13
it would be cool if we made a the-onion style website. writing lies into post titles just isn't the same thing
