Moral of the story - If you're going to do evil cult shit don't scam people's moms.
it's actually nuts how effective this has been.
I think this speaks to the situation in Japan being tentative for the right, while also having a party of effective monsters willing to do whatever is necessary to keep power. They're like the tories in that regard, but even better at it.
