Once in my senior year of high school, our debate coach assigned us an exercise. He wanted us to split into groups, choose a piece of classical music, and make a case for it being the greatest composition of the Romantic era (his English was poor so it was hard to tell for sure). I asked if a particular concerto would make for a convincing example and he replied "Bach moot".
