Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

What makes this one so different? Why give a warning for this one? Demoralization tactic?
Edit: they’re threatening to keep up this bombardment until the city is destroyed if Israel doesn’t stop the terror bombing, and will do it other cities too. I’m surprised they have enough misiles for this kind of thing tbh.
I think it's a big psychological hit. It's basically the equivalent of a roof-knock but for Israel.
Picture this: you're an Israeli settler. You, for basically your whole life, have inherently assumed that your military is so strong that they warn people whose homes are about to be destroyed as to let the civilians get out. Your military could just strike them, but no, they go a further step because they're so advanced that they don't even need an element of surprise. They can hit whatever and wherever they desire; roof knocks are just a formality.
Now imagine the Gazans are doing that but to you, a settler who lives in Asqalan. The tables have turned. The Gazans are suggesting that they are powerful enough that the mass casualties aren't even really the point; they can hit you, through your almighty Iron Dome, whenever they want.
A lot of this war has been psychological in one way or another. Breaking the aura of invincibility, that the prospect of it being so hopeless to resist your colonizers that there's no point even trying, and instead fighting back psychologically and showing that the colonizers can be defeated, in fact have been defeated, that they are demoralized and you are moralized now, is a big part of warfare like this.
Great analysis, I remember watching something from a Vietnamese communist how morale is/was their greatest weapon (cant remember if it was after or during the war).
Do you think they’ll actually be able to follow through on their threat of leveling the settlement?
I don't see why the resistance would expend that many resources on leveling a settlement, and I don't think they could do it with the size of their rockets/bombs.

I guess they did use "demolish" but it seems like the threat/goal is to displace the settlers there, not level it— cutting off services would go a long way

they havent really started ground assault on the settleements occupied by gaza it seems (tho news are sparse) , the videos of the Settlers in complete panic trying to leave also must be brutal on the psyche !
they provoke some scary thought for every Israeli
