This is actually the results of a survey of overseas readers published in the April 2023 issue of Comic Yuri Hime, so it makes sense that they used the English term.

Can't be arsed to actually typeset it, but here's a quick-and-dirty mostly literal translation

Translation

The comic column of Muromaki-sensei who is living in Germany discussing the state of yuri overseas

I conducted a survey

Panel 1

Long time no see! Hi, I'm Muromaki! This time I conducted a survey in English of overseas Yuri fans!!

Panel 2:

Here's the contents of the survey:

Survey

  1. Age
  2. Sex/Gender
  3. Country of Residence
  4. How they discovered Yuri
  5. Do you know Yuri Hime?
  6. If so, what work do you like?
  7. Favorite yuri work
  8. Favorite genre

Panel 3

Amazingly, more than 5600 people participated! Tallying up the responses.....

(First, country of residence!)

  1. USA
  2. Philippines
  3. Canada
  4. Vietnam
  5. Indonesia
  6. Mexico
  7. Germany
  8. Brazil
  9. France
  10. Australia

Panel 4

Important point!!

Since this survey was conducted in English, the responses are heavily biased towards Western countries, so it shouldn't be taken as representative of the whole world.

People who don't speak English have been excluded so please bear that in mind!

Yuri fans around the world

Panel 1

Age

Next, we have age! As expected, you all are quite young!

  1. 15-25 (55.7%)
  2. 26-35 (37.1%)
  3. 36-45 (4.7%)

It seems the responses are mostly from those age 15-45!!

Panel 2

Gender

Female: 48.4%
Male: 36%
Non-binary: 14.2%
Other: 1.4%

Next, we have gender! Just about half of the respondents are women.

Probably about the same as the Japanese readership?

Panel 3

What's "non-binary"?

The third option was "nonbinary", which is used in English to express the various meanings of 中性 ("androgynous/neutral gender"), 異端性 [TL: idk what this is], and 男でも女でもない ("neither male nor female").

Overseas the discussion around gender is more lively so 14% of respondents identify as non-binary

(amazing!)

(dog: wow!)

Panel 4

So that's it for the reader demographics!

Next, let's look at their taste in yuri!

("hey, reader!")

How about you? How old are you and where are you from? And your gender?

(boisterous ->)

Page 2 is left as an exercise for the reader, but I have to include it because of the Japanglish in the last panel:

spoiler

MAKOTO NI ARIGA-THANKS GOZAI-MUCH

I love that both weebs and Japanese people can enjoy Japanglish together.

edit: I might have realized this if I read the column series title properly, but the columnist is a self-described "diasporic Asian from Germany" and they go by she/they pronouns!
