Like, not even the most hardcore tankie called the Russian invasion of Ukraine the "Russia-Azov War". Wouldn't it make more sense to call it the Israel-Palestine War? Or even the Israel-Gaza War?

(Yes, I know it's less of a war, more of an genocide, but still.)

Yes, the framing is meant to concede by default that Israel only seeks to destroy Hamas and that doing so doesn't also mean the destruction of Gaza and the 2M+ people (1M children).

I make sure to only call it "Israel's genocide of Gaza" or "Israel's genocide of Palestinians"
