It's also an older term for Israeli settlers
They simplified another name in english. In Hebrew there is Tsabra, which is a cactus and was adopted for Israelis born in the lands of Palestine. Arabic writes it with a sin, not a sad, different letters.

Sabra, the camp, is written with a sad, non-arab ears dont really hear the difference without a little bit of training.

You can look at the pages in arabic and you'll see they are different. It still speaks to a lot of ignorance/not caring to name it like that though, considering the company was founded only 2 years after the massacres happened.
It'd be like the US having a fast food joint called Wounded Knee or a noodle company called Mai Lai.
How about the fact the Israelis use American made Apache helicopters to mow down people whose land they are stealing.
