In recent years, we've seen it with Russia, China, Palestine, and now Yemen. I wonder when we'll see the racism resurface from otherwise "liberal" people in the future

I predict border security will become an even bigger issue, and the last vestiges of liberal concern for asylum seekers will be purged. "Round em up and kick em out" will become the explicit message of both parties. Potential NYT opinion piece headline: "Actually, Some Human Beings Are Illegal."
