they'll manage to legally imply that all people must carry identification at all times and that anyone shot dead while not carrying ID will be affected by some unholy combo of this and castle doctrine

that is, until a cracker is shot

I'll just say there's a word from Arabic that's in English language dictionaries and it starts with an "i". I don't know why I'm sharing that piece of trivia.
