"It's absurd that two months later, we don't have that," National Transportation Safety Board chair Jennifer Homendy said.

"Boeing has not provided us with documents and information we have requested numerous times," Homendy told the Senate Commerce Committee.

Sorry, supply-side Jesus taught us to only worship sociopathic corporations and leadership who act based on an unquenchable thirst for capital — so close to god they can't pass through the eye of a needle.

USPS is publicly funded and operated by a heavily unionised workforce — therefore the filthy proletarian communism of Lucifer himself.

Damn it all I forgot that by buying a book of stamps so I can pay postage to drop letters off in the many boxes maintained and monitored by an army of carriers and know that within days my mother will have a magnetic calendar with pictures of her grandkids I was ENGAGING IN SIN

Jesus ducking Christ I didn't mean any of that, only that they've lost packages around here a few times. Calm down

[-] originalfrozenbanana@lemm.ee -1 points 8 months ago

Unlike Amazon and UPS and fedex and all those other carriers that never lose packages right? Maybe ask why you’re focusing only on the federal government institution that the right wing has been demonizing for decades instead of the private institutions that lobby them

I said the same to another comment, but I actually didn't know about the whole right-wing raging thing. If I did I probably would have steer cleared of the joke. Yes of course the other companies lose packages as well. I guess it makes sense why people are crawling up my ass about it now, everybody thinks I'm some libertarian nut job now

I don’t, really. I think that both people are VERY sensitive to astroturfed and memetic right-wing messaging and assume anyone repeating a right-wing meme is doing so intentionally, and that right wing memes are very easy to accidentally internalize. Sorry for jumping down your throat. You’re honestly the minority who recognizes they stepped on a rake they genuinely weren’t aware of…I (and I think a lot of folks) feel like I have to be constantly vigilant against bad faith “common sense” propaganda

Makes sense. Thanks
