You can go on a date at gold saucer with Barrett in the original if you get the conditions correct. I haven't played the new one yet, waiting on pc release.
That's very funny, I haven't touched the original since I was a kid and I remember that Yuffie and Tifa were options if you selected the right dialogue, but I never heard about Barrett.

The shader does looks buged. Like its trying to model transparency or some sort of fancy ligth effect, but the relevant texture file is missing.
The person that made the post was adamant that it didn't matter what lighting she was in and was a thoroughly unattractive character.
Now im confused. Shouldnt she look exactly like what this wierdos whan women to look?
