By "optimizing" do you mean going through the source code and adding comments referring to Optimus Prime? Because that's called "optimus priming" and we had a whole two hours about it in coding camp.

"optimizing" is a portmenteau coming from "optical minimizing". the technique involves not using glasses, so you can't tell when your code is trash.

"Optimizing" is where you convince your programmers that microdosing MDMA is great for productivity and they all end up being really optimistic about how their code is doing.
