Oh boy, another game where "historical accuracy" means "no people of color" and "you can pull yourself up into nobility by your own bootstraps"
Legit, give me a game where you die at 12 because your dad let a rat drown in the family beer supply and gave everyone the plague
This kind of happens in Kingdom Come. If you choose to play on the hardcore mode you have a 90% chance of dying before the game starts from any number of random occurences. You need to keep rerolling a new game until you get a run where you don't die as a child.
Pressing a button that doesn't work 9 times out of ten is not "hardcore"
It's just fucking tedious
Well, it is a gag. Kingdom Come is already pretty hardcore out of the box, so the fact they make it hard to even start a new game on the 'hardcore mode' was funny, I thought.
It wasn't funny when Traveller did it either
