(I have completed the game, just committing to the bit)
its not that jojomart is proletarian, its just that is a higher stage of development than a mom and pop shop. It's a much more efficient shop.
Also a more centralized institution will be easier to nationalize when a revolution happens.
I feel that the fact that magic exists kinda throws a wrench into things.
