Yeah if his son had his permit why not have him drive

Unless he was drunk too

[-] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 54 points 3 months ago

Probably didn't trust the son enough to drive the expensive truck

[-] kristina@hexbear.net 60 points 3 months ago

I fucking hate cars and melon-musk . People are so shit at driving that it's not implausible for "literally no one" to be better than a 16 y/o.

What else do you expect when they were dumb enough to buy a Cybertruck

[-] AmericaDeserved711@hexbear.net 12 points 3 months ago

No, he was driving drunk.

[-] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmygrad.ml 12 points 3 months ago

That's a silly question, you need to be in the cult of Elon to even consider buying cybertruck.

What's the point of having a son with a learners permit if he can't drive you home from the bar at 2pm!

[-] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 11 points 3 months ago

Learners permits usually don't let them drive at night, and require someone who is licensed and not impaired in the passenger seat.
