That quitting a job to get a "better one" never ends up having a better job. The grass is never greener on the other side of the fence.

Welllll, in some cases the grass on this side is really bad.

I worked a job where my co-worker attempted suicide in front of us.

I found a new job in a new postal code.

This was definitely not true for me. I have quit jobs for better jobs, and they were better! Never perfect, but better.
