If you like the rooting tooting western aspect, may I suggest Cisco Houston? He was a folk singer and Wobbly troubadour from the depression era who sang a bunch of the old cowboy tunes
Nah, not my thing. What I like about these guys is the voice. The lyrics are just silly.
Ok fair, but Cisco has the most buttery smooth voice around! Not trying to convince you to like something you don't, just have to go to bat for the guy
I mean, he sounds like Woody Guthrie or Pete Seger. Not terrible, but not my first pick.
