I guess everyone just forgets that in the original Call of Duty you are in the red army fighting the nazis. cod doesn't just suck because of the over the top jingoism but it's a 20 year old series in a genre that was already getting stale back when it was released.
True dat. The Red Army sequences had some terminal hitler brain, like a bunch of crap from the Usian Enemy at the Gates was the crossing the volga sequence, but bombing through Kursk with the Doobie Brothers on the radio full blast zeroing Hitlerite tanks was cool af.
