The situation between Hezbollah and Israel is rapidly escalating, with massive bombing campaigns on southern Lebanon by Israel predominantly on civilians (as the tunnels in South Lebanon are mostly unreachable to the Zionists, just like in Gaza), while Hezbollah and its allies respond with missile attacks predominantly on Israeli military facilities. Israel is spreading an evacuation order to the residents of southern Lebanese villages while also bombing their routes of escape and civilian infrastructure, similar to a terror tactic used widely in Gaza.
Northern Israel is currently under military censorship to hide their losses, so we get very little information other than what the Resistance provides and what videos and images get through the censors.
I don't know if Israel will dare a ground incursion soon, but it seems fairly likely in the coming days or weeks.

He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.

He might be alive, he might be dead. I've seen rumors for both scenarios. I am firmly anti-defeatist and anti-doomer but once bitten, twice shy - I remember how the situation around Raisi's helicopter crash went, with rumors from "official" sources about how he was alive that then turned out to be incorrect, which confused the entire situation to a massive degree. While we waited for official news, different factions vied over creating narratives from very few facts, as we see in the media right now. But with how Israel loves to assassinate people, I have basically pre-emptively accepted and internalized the potential deaths of most Resistance leaders and figures so as to get the mourning process over with sooner and recognize that those who replace them shall continue the job with great vigor.
But this isn't Lord of the Rings where defeating the leader of the army causes all their empire and soldiers to crash into nothing. This goes both ways - killing Israeli commanders and leaders will not cause the IDF to evaporate either. Assuming he is dead, just as with the pager terrorist attack, Westerners (and some people in this thread) will go "It's over, the walls are closing in, Hezbollah has been defeated," and then Hezbollah will continue functioning without significant interruption, and they'll go "Ah, well, nevertheless..." and wait until the next major strike. It is clearly a durable organization that has survived decades and many assassinations by Israel. Hezbollah will survive and thrive regardless of who sits at its helm, and it is the combined product of every leader and commander; in that sense, they never truly die.
Nonetheless, I do sincerely hope that Sinwar and Nasrallah live to see a free Palestine. They deserve nothing less, and infinitely more.
I feel the same way. There is a high likelihood that when this is all overwith, high profile Resistance leaders like Nasrallah, Sinwar, maybe Khomeini will have been murdered. Prepare now mentally and emotionally.
And remember, at least IMO the reason why Israel wants to kill Nasrallah is not because they think it will change the calculus of the situation or that Hezbollah will be rendered ineffective (at least the smart demons in Israeli leadership). They want to kill him because they know killing him will provoke Hezbollah and maybe push them to try and go on the offensive - I think Israel knows that militarily, they are better off fighting a defensive war than the other way around.
I don't know man, I'm not worried about the leadership or the continued existence of the Resistance, but Nasrallah is/was Nasrallah, he's the resistance, he's the voice of it, he's the man that defeated Israel twice. It's just hard emotionally, It's really hard to process.
That's why you don't get invested in individual leaders of hezbollah. It is a proxy in a wider struggle that bet on gradual strangling of the zionistsl state despite knowing that the zionist state was built on mass genocide
