Got a source?

Shit. The ratchet system in effect in the most grim way possible.
i'm fascinated by your exchange in this thread:
it's common knowledge that biden has extended trump's draconian immigration laws; but you still needed a source for it? or was it that you didn't want to believe it? is it because you don't think biden would do something like this?
It feels like people in this country focus on labeling organizations and people as good or evil.
What we should be doing is labeling actions as evil and enforce punishments for those who do these actions; regardless of who they are affiliated with.
Do you have a source for that?
I generally don’t take things random strangers say on the internet at face value.
i'm trying to understand how you get your information since it's literally on the tv news channels and on the radio and online; it's even a 3 second google search way and chatgpt will give you an answer in less than a second, but you still wanted a source.
you've demonstrated a willingness to adjust your view with provided with evidence; but it's on a topic with so much evidence i genuinely curious at how it didn't reach you.
The onus lies on the claimant. It’ll be trivial to find an obscure source saying whatever.
i think i owe you an apology; i read through my comments and i got an accusatory tone from them and i think that's what turned you off from engaging. i'm sorry.
when i asked if you're not paying attention, it wasn't an indictment on you. i think that 95% of americans don't pay attention and I mentioned it because i thinking that you might be an ordinary person in this country.
the reason i pursued this digression was to understand you because i was always under the assumption that if a political talking point was parroted in network tv and all other media then it would automatically become common knowledge.
you've disabused me of that assumption and I wanted to understand more because the people who would refused to believe this border policy exists are generally the same people who refused to update their views when presented with evidence to the contrary and the interaction i commented on proves to me that you're not like that so i was hoping you could educate me.
in this case it's nbc, abc, cbs, google, bing, yahoo, reuters, new york times, the guardian, etc. not some obscure source.
Cool. Since there's so much staggering evidence of this in the mainstream news, could you link to some? This is the third time someone is asking you for evidence now and you've yet to provide any.
if that's what it takes to get you to respond and I'll oblige: this literally took me less than 5 seconds on a google search:
https://www.splcenter.org/news/2022/03/23/family-separation-timeline https://www.npr.org/2023/12/08/1218336878/immigration-family-separation-judge-settlement-border https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/05/07/immigration-family-separation/
Unless you think that the southern poverty law center; npr; and the washington post are obscure sources.
and now here's my 4th time asking how it's missed you; are you just not paying attention?
UPDATE: didn't realize it was a different person.
I don't think you read through any of those stories fully. All they're describing is how the Trump administration separated all these people and the Biden administration has been trying to reunite them through his task force. Why they haven't finally united any of the remaining 1400+ families is not in any of these sources.
What is mentioned is how the Biden administration went to provide separated families with aid but of course why would any reasonable Republican vote for that when they're already trying to rip the families apart?
If your complaint is Biden didn't clean up Trump's mess fast enough for your liking, it's not a great argument.
biden and trump aren't interested in fixing anything except for their donors and my only complaint; besides them being there; is why the poster is avoiding answering the question
biden and trump have no interest in fixing anything that doesn't make their donors or friends happy and my only complaint is why that poster is avoiding the question.
The fact that those children are still separated from their parents?
Last I checked, Trump isn't president anymore.
