My communist Sweden is doing very well

It is being ran as a council republic, with social democrats in charge (ew I know)
But everyone lives well, not exploiting any countries for it and am fairly peaceful. Only one war with norway really.
Ah right, I don't have the DLC so I could still only do it through protectorates, which wasn't great. I assume those foreign countries also have to have the goods to support railways to export, which is probably a problem.
