Lately I’ve been seeing more virtue signaling from gamers warning each other to not pre order upcoming games. What are you 5 years old lol you need reminders from internet strangers to not spend your money on a series that burned you in the past?

I was expecting it to deviate from the Cold War satire of season 3 because they continued having the Soviets as a baddie, but they turned out to be the least sinister problem.

I enjoyed the contrast between Will and Mike’s distant and faltering relationship with Dustin and Steve’s healthy and loving friendship, but I did wish they did a little more with the latter two.

Joyce and Robin are cuties, as usual.

For the most part, I liked how almost everyone had important tasks that contributed to the overall goal. Even when Mike’s crew or Joyce’s crew didn’t get screen time for a long time, I’m still reminded that their jobs are crucial. I wish they had done a little more with Yuri and the prison guard.

Overall, it was alright. If they ever make a season 6, which they probably will because it’s a lucrative franchise, I hope they return to season 1’s conspiracy thriller vibe. Particularly, going back to the 60s and exploring the start of MKULTRA and Paperclip scientists, California cults that dabbled in LSD, and the CIA and FBI meddling of the Black Panthers. It would be funny to see Panthers using Maoist tactics to defeat the monsters.

With Legion growth stalling, Ryan Routh, a former construction worker from Greensboro, N.C., is seeking recruits from among Afghan soldiers who fled the Taliban. Mr. Routh, who spent several months in Ukraine last year, said he planned to move them, in some cases illegally, from Pakistan and Iran to Ukraine. He said dozens had expressed interest.

“We can probably purchase some passports through Pakistan, since it’s such a corrupt country,” he said in an interview from Washington.

It is not clear whether he has succeeded, but one former Afghan soldier said he had been contacted and was interested in fighting if it meant leaving Iran, where he was living illegally.

I understand that AMD drivers are open source and less of a hassle to work compared to Nvidia. But what else? What model should I look for? I don’t care for raytracing or other dumb gimmicks. Just want to run my map games and cowboy games without lag and crashes. Upscaling compatible is preferred in case I want to play newer slop without buying a new card.

I remember being a kid and reading the manga because the art looked interesting. Each chapter was only a couple pages. But it was chapter after chapter of this dude being a tool and a doormat for some popular girl who just pretends he doesn’t exist in public and I stopped because I figured it was just gonna be pathetic the whole time.

Have some god damn self respect.

The NRA and all the gun owners are surely going to rush to their defense and uphold the right to defend yourself from breakins. Just like they did with Philando Castile.

There’s already a new babushka/umbrella man conspiracy theory. People are pointing out some lady with sunglasses standing behind Trump who calmly started recording instead of ducking when the shots rang out

This is why I never want to be on camera for any video that goes viral. I rather not be doxed and murdered because some brainwormed yakubian determines that I’m part of a cabal of assassins

To anyone still participating in campus protests against genocide and the empire, I highly suggest connecting with STEM students. It will be an uphill battle because it’s very difficult to find an engineer who cares about anything beyond a paycheck, but those who do have morals may provide an advantage to resistance.

Because STEM is full of selfish, evil people here in the west, it’s likely that they have automatic trust in each other and be open about the different programs and events that directly contribute to the military industrial complex. This is especially true for the professors and researchers who are affiliated with military contractors or have projects sponsored by them. These projects are often done on campus and the equipment costs millions of dollars. Chanting and camping out is nice and all, but it’s clear that colleges don’t care and these machines keep on churning behind closed doors.

The other tricky part is that the engineers who are against the American empire are likely Arab and/or Muslim, and there are many here in the states. But the students and staff involved with the military projects are less likely to be Arab/muslim, and you can verify by viewing their project websites. The government’s racist law enforcement may make the only sympathetic engineers understandably uncomfortable getting involved. But it’s still worth reaching out anyway.

We need to start thinking more like the feds. Start putting our people in positions that have control and/or access to useful facilities. The Brits have managed to sabotage some weapons factories, and American universities are less guarded than proper factories. This may require a lot of manpower with high integrity. But it may also only require a couple of people in key positions to get the ball rolling. Another option is making these assholes’ fears come true and actually utilize “outside agitators”; if you know rich people who are not busy (or can crowdsource for tuition), get them to enroll in classes so they’re officially a student and start applying for the jobs around campus. This isn’t working “from the inside” to reform, it’s seeking to actively harm and slow down the murderous machine.

Lol so the Israelis had advanced technology and intelligence to pinpoint the identities and locations of two supposed attackers, and they just bomb the entire place? Remember when they had a team of 12 “special forces operators” disguised as injured civilians at a hospital to assassinate two unconscious Hamas fighters? Lmao

Can you imagine? A hostile superpower sailing its warships near your country even though its international waters? I can’t believe china is the only one who does this. No respect for sovereignty
