Don't tell your wife but I bought your son a 12" gun and Jordan Peterson's 0.45 Rules For Life.
looks like it's a franchise that kinda had a neat little toy, got an anime that hit, and then bumbled into literally every other industry that collectibles do and did them all in a way that made essentially zero cultural impact outside of unlimited contrarianism against pokemon by kids who had a chip on their shoulder about it
Nah that's like 90% of it.
The other angle is that the anime was better than the Pokemon one. If you were only engaging with these things by watching their shows, you'd think Digimon was the best. Of course the Pokemon games were better than either of these things, but that didn't mean anything if you didn't own a game boy.
It turns out that you can be good at explaining how to use Blender and still be bad enough at everything else to think that NFTs are a good idea.
It's a little tricky but people learn it all the time. The Blender Guru "donut tutorial" is a good starting point.t

Kids can be up to a year older than their classmates due to the way kindergarten start date cutoffs work. These kids who arbitrarily end up older tend to outperform their peers, because a 7.9 year old is stronger and faster than a 7 year old. This is a real difference - the NHL did a study on this and found that their players disproportionately have early-year birthdays due to how this effect lines up with hockey camps.
Do you care? Of course not, nobody cares about the competitive fairness of kids' sports, the point is just to get them to exercise and have a hobby. We can verify that nobody takes this seriously by looking at high school sports, where suddenly a four year age gap is acceptable.
Okay, so why does this suddenly matter when it's what team a trans kid should be on?
I know you were hoping I'd request one, so here I am.
