What's more concerning is the lack of clarification on policy. They welcomed prominent transphobe Mark Serwotka (whose wife was a founding member of A Woman's Place UK) into the party, and seem to be ignoring all criticism of that, so things aren't looking good on that front.
The EHRC put out some statutory guidance (aka binding in law) which made things broadly worse for trans people for a little while, but has since been downgraded to the non-legally-binding kind due to legal challenges^1^. The chair of the EHRC got thrown out and replaced with an about equally (if not more) transphobic chair who has been quietly working on the new guidance, which I hear very bad things about - word is it's being released soon, but right now everyone's just waiting to see what it says. Some / many private companies have used the opportunity to make their policies more transphobic in the meantime, so things are de-facto worse right now, but the full impact hasn't landed yet.
^1^ It's a bit more complicated than this (I'm not a lawyer), but I do remember they tried to do take-backsies later and say it was never statutory guidance despite originally calling it that
