I watched Inventing Anna, a dramatized true crime miniseries. It was pretty decent.
I'm making ham and bean soup now. It's super simple - toss a ham hock and chopped ham into a slow cooker with 8C of chicken broth, add a finely chopped onion and a couple cloves of minced garlic, toss in a can of petite diced tomatoes, add a bag of 15 bean mix (soaked overnight), cook on low for 8-12 hours. Season with chili powder, salt, and pepper. Squeeze in the juice from a lemon for brightness. Tastes best after resting for a night in the fridge.
Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Serbian Film isn't scary, it's just gross and controversial.
If you liked The Descent, you should try As Above, So Below. They felt very similar to me.
Audiobooks and ebooks are always reserved for weeks or months for popular titles on the library services in my city. I use it for lesser known titles, but sometimes I want to read a book the day it comes out.
I've been using Samsung phones since 2011 and have never seen anything like this. I'm using an S25 Ultra right now and have never had ads in my notifications. Not sure what you setup incorrectly but this certainly isn't the normal experience.
I used to work at a small IT company. Every Friday at 2pm the boss would stream The Big Lebowski over all of the office TVs and speaker systems. He had painstakingly cut all of the profanity out of the audio by hand.
You were encouraged to get a beer or two when the movie started. Then we just worked with the movie on in the background and sipped beer until 4pm when the office closed.
I can still recite The Big Lebowski, sans profanity, over 10 years later.
Uplifting news? In MY feed?
Nintendo could have raked in millions by doing it themselves, but they prefer their closed ecosystem.
I was an IT help desk manager for 10 years. Your attire is perfect, and it's a good sign that you're concerned about looking professional.
Here's a pro tip - In your interview you will almost certainly be asked how you'd solve an issue that you have no idea how to approach. What they're looking for is how you'll respond emotionally. The correct answer is to assure the end user that you will find a solution, don't panic, and then check internal documentation. "Have we run into this before?" Insist that the company should never have to solve the same issue twice because documentation is paramount. Never be afraid to say that you'd escalate the issue but KEEP OWNERSHIP. Ownership is huge to these people.
I'd be glad to go into more detail about what they'll be looking for if it will be helpful.
I won't wish you good luck because you've already got this!
Take a vacation and see if that improves things. If so, burnout. If not, look for other reasons that you're lacking motivation.
