Every industry is full of non-technical hills that people plant their flag on. What is yours?

(The other post was technical hills. I changed the question to non-technical.)

Only 319 new condo units were sold in the third quarter, down 54 per cent from a year ago and the lowest quarterly total since 1990 when Toronto’s condo market faced a severe crash, according to a quarterly condo report by the real estate research firm Urbanation.

Lemmings, what are your opinions on the housing market?

What have you been putting in your children’s lunches?

I usually try to do something I know they will eat like a croissant, waffle, bagel, muffin, or crackers;

something I hope they will eat but don't, like celery or cucumber:

And snacks ( apple slices, cookies, granola bars, grapes, berries, etc).

What are some lunches you make?

Question:

When scrolling through posts, then accidentally hitting back, it takes me to Communities.

From the list of Communities I'm subscribed to, how can I go back to scrolling where I left off? It seems as soon as I see communities, I have to click on one and can't resume scrolling from where I was. If I click on any community, it refreshes the community.

Thank you!

Flip phone upside down to fix this error.

Wow you explained AIs tone and writing very well.

I find it interesting that AI writes very high level, which is a trait that seems to be valued by upper management (VP, CEO level).

Currently I'm using booky mcbookface but the app is really lacking and the scrolling is not smooth.

Edit: I came across Lithium and Readera which both don't seem to collect much information compared to other apps. Not sure if they're open source though.

Lowering interest rates would cause inflation to get higher. The whole point of increasing interest rates is to slow down inflation.

If the first child is intelligent and a competent designer, then the second child will be safe. There are no issues here. Just 2 children who trust each other.

To be fair, that's a call and not a text.

So taxpayers paid over $103M on over 24 partisan advertisements.

That's a lot of money spent on ads that could have gone to services and improved Ontario.

Can we please recommend apps your kids enjoy? This could be games, painting or educational.

I prefer free apps which, preferably, are ok for privacy too.

Thank you for sharing!

I need to get this off my chest. School bus came early, and I was not there to get my child as the bus is usually late. There were vehicles which stopped for the bus, which waited for under 1 minute, then just passed the school bus all one after the other while bus was flashing and stop sign was out.

When I got my child, the bus driver was smiling and didn't say a thing about vehicles passing it. I'm sure they are used to it.

Nothing can be done. I'm just venting. I found out because a witness told me, so I checked the camera to see what happened.

So annoyed people are so impatient that they can't stop for a school bus beyond 10 seconds.

Yeah! I like my fake validation and fake likes from anonymous friends over here on lemmy. Fake friends are overrated.

So as a human I am supposed to get it wrong, right?

Article says the following was breached:

Detailed location logs showing exactly where and when cars were parked.

Personal information of owners, such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers.

Insights into users’ routines, workplaces, leisure spots, and even sensitive visits, such as government offices, hospitals, and private establishments.

That is a lot of information about a person's life.

I read somewhere that data was released that the week of day light savings had an increase of vehicle collisions.

I think it's normal to feel tired when your sleep is disrupted/ changed. Some people are more affected than others.

Could it be that you just want to be chased? Enjoy being hard to get? Feeling valued. Get satisfaction from being contacted and approached but then once it all disappears it feels like you lost?

I'm only thinking this because you wrote you get a weird satisfaction from rejecting.

Puffins are adorable. They appear to mate for life! It's one of my favourite birds.

I often hear of people in work from home opportunities but I find them so rare to come across. What sites / resources do you use to find remote work opportunities? Which companies still do work from home?

Also please list the country the jobs are out of if you can.
