Yeah that makes sense. I'm thinking more along the lines of like, if you're playing borderlands and start seeing decrepit billboards advertising the all new 2026 Honda Ridgeline or whatever the fuck.
I mean, a lot of them already had ads, they just weren't getting paid for it.
Go through a game and see a can of coke or other name brand item laying around in the open world, I wouldn't mind if they got paid for having Pepsi cams strewn about instead of coke.
But if they're going to be adding billboards to the roadways in games specifically to show ads or forcing gamers to watch an add to advance to the next region/level etc that's crossing the line.
I feel like any paper that's published that cited a paper which got retracted, should automatically be reviewed and assessed to determine if they should also be retracted.
People always overestimate how much time they save when driving faster.
If you were travelling 100km at 100km/h it would take you and hour to get to your destination.
At 80km/h it would take you 1h15m.
If you were travelling half that distance you would only be saving 8 minutes.
Y'all want to risk dying to save maybe 8 minutes? It's not only your driving you need to worry about, it's other people on the road.
Strength and force don't deserve respect, being respectful in return deserve respect. It's why I have no respect for the United States either.
How long before people start pretending to be ICE to basically break and enter into homes to rob people? Not like they can fight back, or even question things, or have due process, if someone in an ICE vest shows up at your door.
Why can't we just get rid of gendered restrooms altogether?
Just have a room with fully enclosed rooms for a toilet and then a common area for the sinks. Get rid of those stupid flimsy walls with cracks everywhere and two feet of space beneath the door and just have a bunch of individual rooms with a toilet in them. Guys can pee in a toilet, they don't need a uniral.
Stupid shape for a can too, tips over In a vehicles cup holder
My top company that I will never give another dollar to is Adobe, as they forced me into a 1 year "contract" with a $200 cancellation fee after forgetting to cancel their one month discounted trial in time.
Other companies for myself include Dell, HP, and Canadian Tire.
Lol
Literally the only time I use reddit now that my 3rd party app got fucked by spez is when I Google a problem and reddit pops up as the answer.
Will I ever go to reddit and search for my issue? Hell no because their search function is absolutely useless.
What is more infuriating is the dog's leash doesn't look like it even has enough length for the dog to lie down.
Mine has the 2 for volume and 1 for power, as well as a toggle switch to change from silent, vibrate, and sound for the ringer which I quite like.
