Fucking hell.

Oh shut the fuck up, liberal.

TSM was a failed color revolution spearheaded by capitalist academics who convinced students to literally murder and burn alive PLA officers. Nobody was killed in Tiananmen Square. Protestors were killed outside the square after they continually attacked the PLA.

It is a blemish on China not because the crackdown was unusual or unwarranted, but because it got out of control and the world needed something, anything, to use as propaganda against a nation that refused to do imperialism. A nation that would eventually surpass the USA in strength and relevance.

To invoke the TSM as propaganda is to admit you're afraid of China. And you should be, if you're a western liberal. Which you are.

Can you link us the Wikipedia article about the genocide of Uighurs? It's been going on for four years, after all, according to you. It must be an absolute doozy of an article, like all the other genocide articles.

Oh wait, they renamed it from "genocide of Uighurs" to "persecution of Uighurs" when it became clear there was no evidence of genocide? Weird, I thought Wikipedia was American-biased!

Oh wait again, Wikipedia does hate China, yet even they realized there is no genocide. Time for you to get the memo and stop trying to invent China Bad reality. Loser.

Edit: Lmao his links are literally just a peanut gallery of China Bad. It's so pathetic.

Lmao, I love Lemmy. Such a good question, albeit silly.

The answer is no. There is no legal way for the oppressed to revolt, from contemporary times to antiquity. The ruling class does not budge unless two things occurs: 1) revolutionary violence that they can't stop, 2) the ruling class realizes another mode of production is superior.

The latter has never happened without the former forcing their hands. No slaveowners wanted to give up their free production on the back of slaves, but after feudalism came into fashion off the back of even more organized violence than slave societies could muster, the ruling class realized that a society can produce more if the workers were properly incentivized to want to work, instead of being beat and killed if they don't.

To go from capitalism to socialism is similar. Capitalists will fight tooth and nail to continue their oppression, and only respond to violence. But just like slaveowners, capitalists don't realize they're leaving a lot on the table, societally and ethically, by continuing to propagate liberalism and quash communist revolutions.

My brother or sister or enby in Christ, it's 2026 and this is Lemmy. Stop using political compasses like a 4chan poster. Talking about "the axes" is so childish and unserious I actually read your comment as satire at first.

There is more to political ideology than a 2-axis compass. To explain the differences between Libertarianism and Anarchism to another adult involves talking about the ideas and history, not a chart you saw on 4chan.

The dumbfuck YouTuber who pretended to be an engineer loves Teslas? Amazing. On the nose.

Also, don't get your privacy advice from YouTube. A horrible idea.

As someone who likes X11, Wayland works fine. To say it has so many things wrong is a self report. People like you make shit up about Wayland because you had some unrelated issue years ago. Just give a rest.

OP is hawking AI art "prints" on an art subreddit.

It's weird but I'm with the reddit mod on this one, lmao.

So few opportunities to use the word "decimate" literally. And now, one fewer.
