I use the desktop version and it works really good but the phone version is soo slow. You have to wait for the UI elements to load each time an UI element appears so something that would take 200ms takes 2 seconds because it takes so long

I used many Lemmy Android clients and after trying out Sync it is so good. It is not FOSS but it is high quality. Other FOSS apps are not mature enough yet and are unestable. I hope one day a FOSS one can compete and have high quality and I will switch

The plataform is Lemmy, lemmy.world is a server, there are apps for the entire plataform not only one server. That means than you can use any app to connect to lemmy.world, lemmy.ml, beehaw.org and so on

I use https://postimages.org/, it is completily free and almost unlimited (not if you just spam) but idk about their privacy policy or the sites it loads
