Nah the US would find another “favorite child” to use for their proxy wars.

Fundamentally flawed. Using an LLM to judge its own creative writing bypasses the whole point of fiction, and will yield bad results.

No money is exactly what’s needed to achieve this.

Well that’s not the only thing that makes them obnoxious, but it’s a huge contributor.

In Python you can use 🍆 as a variable name.

Edit: oops, guess I was mistaken, you can use most Unicode but emojis are not valid.

One of the comments accurately states:

We use so much AI in production every day but nobody notices because as soon as a technology becomes useful, we stop calling it AI. Then it’s suddenly “just face recognition” or “just product recommendations” or “just [plane] autopilot” or “just adaptive cruise control” etc

AI essentially just means “whatever I’m not used to the computer doing”.

So I visited Bangladesh one time, and learned they have insanely high rates of cancer there. Why? Well it turns out that (among other reasons) the farmers had been injecting formaldehyde into their vegetables because it made them last longer on the shelves, and therefore sold better.

This is what you get with no regulations. A sick and dying population.

Foreign political funding should be banned everywhere by default. It makes no sense to let foreign interests muck about in your domestic policy.

I mean, it could be a manual photoshop job. Just because it’s not AI doesn’t mean it’s real.

But also the detector is probably wrong - it’s likely an AI image using a different model than the detector was trained to detect.

So, you’ve always been able to sideload apps on Android, Google is just using unfair practices to stop other people’s app stores from being popular.

When does this ruling affect Apple, who actually has a monopoly on their store?

I have never once called my dog “sir”. This is a sensationalized headline to the maximum.

Tesla would do well to distance themselves from Musk, for a lot of reasons. But it may be too late - the damage to their reputation may already be fatal.
