Steam goooood!!!

[-] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works -1 points 5 hours ago

Right. Ubisoft is single-handedly responsible for everything bad in videogame. I hear it's actually Ubi's fault that fascism is back.

Anyway, now my coffee's cold, thanks Ubisoft.

Lol, just don't buy the games, it's that easy. They already layoff half of their work force, you won, Ubisoft bad, Steam good.

And I'm not talking protecting "the feelings" of employee. I'm talking about literal death threat and bomb alert being send to the devs, not the executive, because of "black samurai" in a fictional game that isn't even out lol.

I dont want to get into this but, yeah, it's just a soul-less capitalist business like 99% of other studios. The management sucks, but I know a lot of people that worked there over the years (most lost their jobs in past 4-5 years), and they are just developers passionate about making games. I know some are deeply affected by all the hate they got online.

Whatever Ubisoft does gamers will get mad... I don't even play their games but the bashing is kind of ridiculous at that point. Just play something else, they're almost dead anyway, you won.

“Like I said, it’s just great it’s back and I don’t have to find something else to do while I’m watching a movie.” Hart continued after quickly losing interest in the squirrel.

Nextcloud is an amazing alternative to things like google suite or Office365. You can.self-host it or rent space on a server with nextcloud preinstalled. It integrates things like file storage, online office, podcast, rss feed reader, photo albums, etc. There's litteraly hundreds of apps that can easily be installed. I was a big user of the G suite, made the change last year and couldn't be happier. It's much more powerful than I was expecting and no evil gafam get access to my data.

This is the first private message I get on Lemmy, it immediately seemed suspicious to me so I tried the famous thing.... and it worked!

My boy Figaro. Little bugger (he's 8 months older now) just cost me 800$ in vet this week. But he's the nicest boy out there so it's already forgotten.

I don't plan to play those so let me know what you want. If it's in the title it's available. Look in the comment someone has a Dishonoed key to give.

I'll go first.

3 options

  • Going back to 1964 to watch the Duke Ellington's Montreal show. Try to meet the man and the musicians. Hang around my city.
  • Go in the end of the 70s to meet my parents before they had kids. Grab a couple of beers and party with my young adults parents. See my uncles, etc. in their young time
  • Going to 1881 during the couple of days when Nietzsche wrote Zarathoustra. I want to discuss with guy even if he is supposed to be writing all day long. No consequence right.

What are yours?

EDIT: I'll clarify: You can't affect the timeline. It means you cant go back to try to get rich with stocks, lottery, etc. It's like going to see a movie, when you come back the world will be exactly the same. You can interact with people, but in the end, the day you spend in the past will not have existed for anyone but you, in your memories.

I love this feature on macOS, I believe you can set something similar in Gnome, but couldn't reproduce it KDE. Someone suggest mapping spacebar to open the Information panel but it's definitively not as functional. Anyone knows a widget or any way to get something similar? Also, is there a way to save my theme and settings? Cheers!
