Hey! So I've hit a real wall for the first time since I started playing two years ago. No matter what I try I'm unable to beat any of the Wolf Hunt event missions. I've searched for info, looked at videos, asked in the warframe discord etc. and the answers are either you need these things that are hard to get or "git gud"...

I just started steel path yesterday and can handle those missions fine so far, done about 10, and have had no major issues with anything else (that I've tried). But I just die constantly when I try the first Wolf Hunt mission.

I've been recommended to use Laetum, which I do, but I get swamped by the hundreds of minions that spawn. I get past the first three small waves before you get to the arena, and get his health down fairly quickly, but once in the arena when the smaller enemies spawn endlessly I just can't kill them fast enough to give me time to hurt Wolf himself without dying every 15 seconds. Someone said to use Revenant Prime, but I don't have him. Any other frame that works?

I've soloed 99% of the game, mostly without guides or help other than the warframe wiki, so I'm aware that I'm lacking knowledge. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong or missing here. Any help at all is very much welcome, I'd love to beat this before the event ends in 7 hours.

If you missed your chance, don't worry, Wolf beacons come around every so often. I believe I have some spares, send me a DM here if you'd like to organise some hunts.

Late answer, but Zephyr with a good melee beats basically everything in this game. You have to love her movement though.

Zephyr herself wants Funnel Clouds, and if you're doing a slam build, you want Nira mods as well. After that it's free, but she really likes range and duration, and strength is only necessary on Air Burst Rounds builds.

For a blast slam build, any arcane is fine, including no arcane. Retaliation is quite nice now that we have Primed Redirection, once you've acquired it. If you're running Nira, or an Incarnon, you can skip base damage. You want initial combo, attack speed, Seismic Slam. Crit mods on most weapons. Electric if you're running Melee Influence.

For survivability, I recommend getting your hands on some Ancient Protector spectres, either from Loka kill squads or from Loka directly. Investing in Protective Sling from Vazarin is huge as well, and I honestly recommend running Vaz in most cases, as it makes the game a lot more fun in my opinion. A Fortifier secondary is a huge asset as well: Grimoire, Akarius Prime, Lex Incarnon and Atomos Incarnon are all excellent choices.

Stealth works pretty well for it if you're fine with essentially cheesing the boss. Melee is also punished less by damage attenuation.

The enemy's napalm felt like it also did a lot more damage to me than it should, so try to kill any remaining enemies if you still see them around.

Shattering Impact caa strip his armor, Doing it in public is also helpful.

I used nyx with the augment for her 4, just built for energy to keep it up. So basically I stayed invulnerable and kept smacking him with my melee.

Edit: This nyx build is nice to have around in general. Some mission gives you bullshit? Time to bring out my own bullshit.

His tactical alert variant has no ability immunity. I just hosed him down with Mesa.

Edit: whoops, looks like the event ended right as I replied. I hope you figured out a build!

Pretty much any of the tanky frames makes this mission much easier, even good old Rhino which you probably already have. Just make sure your energy economy is good enough to spam Iron Skin for a while even with no energy orbs and you can breeze through any damage the enemies do. Laetum should absolutely obliterate both the minions and the Wolf itself, at least it did for me when I did the alerts. What's your build/evolutions?
