My favorite was 9, you decrement the unit position and increment the 10s position
Open your hands and turn down the Nth finger. 9•N is the the number of fingers to the left of it in the 10s position and the number of fingers to the right in the unit position.
What sorcery is this!
9 is fun. Start counting up and down from 6 and 5 respectively. Multiply by 9. You get two numbers from the same two digits. 54,45. 63,36...
That's literally the easiest table.
Times 1
The 0 times table would like a word.
A word and one word only
Which schools teach the 1 and 0 tables? Mine certainly didn't. We learned 2 to 12. IMHO the most difficult one is 7.
Any decent teacher will do 1 and 0 at the very beginning. It takes, like, 10 minutes and puts the tables into context.
wait is that not how everyone does it 😂
Whatever works for you. I take half of the non five number and stick a zero on it. Plus five for odds.
Oh, at first I thought that was crazy, but I actually do the same thing.
I use 5, 8, 11, 17 and 35 times table daily. I would say it’s best to practice repetition if you want to remember something. Plus your teachers lied to you, you will always have a calculator with you!
It has never even occurred to me to do it this way. May actually start, myself.
9×5=?
Joke's on you, I remember my nines
90/2 duh
