That’s what happens when you put people in leadership positions who earnestly believe that empathy is a ‘fundamental weakness’. Ya know, ignoring that empathy is precisely what’s made us successful as a species in the first place.
More suffering -> more crime and more unrest.
More crime and more unrest -> more they can justify future power grabs, increased surveillance, and use of military power on domestic soil.

Every single one of these people is a human rights violator and should be tried for such, along with being some of the most corrupt, hateful people in history.
We need a government willing to hold them accountable.
You need a public who is willing to hold them accountable first.
I can't think of a place more deserving of a mass-shooting than this room.
There are approximately 146,000 people named Mario in the US alone. Any one of them could do the FUNNIEST THING.

It wouldn't help, there's an unstoppable army of fuckheads that blindly vote Republican no matter who it is. At this point I've just given up entirely.

As an Australian I am constantly amazed that no matter how racist, homophobic, greedy, stupid, selfish and blatantly self-serving America’s government representatives are, you continue to vote for them.
We arent so committed to the red vs blue ideology. If I vote for blue one term and they don’t perform I’ll vote red or green or independent next term.
Unfortunately, the way things are going, your vote might not make a difference for much longer.
Look up "gerrymandering" and then come back.

Yyyyeah. Unfortunately we're not actually a democratic nation- land and especially money count for more than actual people when it comes to voting. Gerrymandering just reinforces it, and ensures an undemocratic result.
America is like the beta version of liberal democracy that launched far too soon with a constitution full of bugs and the developers decided to make it nearly impossible to patch.
