Seems like a subreddit that would go deep south real quick.

[-] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

It's kind of you to imagine it was created to express hate towards actual monkeys.

Reminds me of /r/coontown

Wasn't discussion about Raccoon City

[-] PatFussy@lemm.ee 8 points 1 year ago

Can we pls bring back coontown to discuss the intricacies of the resident evil universe? Thanks in advance

#T-VIRUS DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE

But honestly a solid idea, someone make it

[-] raubarno@lemmy.ml 21 points 1 year ago

Context: there was a Flash game called "Bloons Tower Defense" where you put monkeys to shoot down invasive balloons with darts.

[-] Fisch@lemmy.ml 11 points 1 year ago

They still make new bloons games, the newest one is Bloons Tower Defense 6 and it seems to do pretty well financially

[-] SkyeStarfall@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 1 year ago

Not just was, is. It's still one of the most popular and better Tower Defense games put there.

[-] someguy3@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 year ago

Looks like one of those red balloons in Donkey Kong.

[-] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 2 points 1 year ago

[-] bastian_5@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

[-] TalesFromTheKitchen@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago
