How the hell is anyone not convinced that America is still a settler country when you literally have a large, majority white, landowning caste that possesses inhuman amounts of firearms and enacts terror upon the lower castes for posing the slightest amount of discomfort to the landowning class.

Also, I know the point is already beaten to a pulp, but god damned, the double standards when a white man shoots someone he "thinks" to be a "threat" and gets off scott free while legitimate self-defense cases (usually by women or POC) are given barely any leniency.

i had seen one of those “scare dumb old people” news stories recently in my local paper. apparently atlanta has a problem with “roving youth gangs ding dong ditching”. i saw multiple comments by exactly who you would expect, retelling stories about how recently some kids tried to do this to them and they came outside with a gun and aimed it at the kids. all the comments in support of this. they framed it like they were “defending themselves”. they painted it as “sure it was just a kid ding dong ditching but it could have been a criminal trying to break into my house!!!”. they’re cowards who hate youth and want to kill children and on top of that they want to be called heroes for it.

Option A: ignore 'em, they're just kids, and eventually they'll stop. Option B: disconnect the door bell because it's really irritating. Option C: Shoot the kid in the back.

Shoot and starving kids in Gaza, working in DRC mines, ending their healthcare, education, and school lunches, stealing them from their parents for deportation; old boomers really hate kids and see no future for the planet so they'll do anything to keep from being inconvenienced.
