I definitely want to watch her show more now. Without doing any research, the name "Hacks" tells me it's probably about bad comedians or something?
I’ve watched most of it and thought it was pretty solid. Basically about trying to be a comedy writer - she writes for a comedian on the tail end of a long Vegas career- and all the bullshit that type of work entails. She’s portrayed as the “woke” (my words) new comedy writing foil to the other comedians “old school” comedy writing (about divorce, etc aka ‘hack’ bits).
