Happy birthday Albert Einstein, Akira Yoshizawa, Casey Jones, Frank Norman, Michael Caine, Billy Crystal, Dan Avidan, Simone Beilles and Me.

π is not 3.14.

[-] TheTetrapod@lemmy.world 4 points 6 hours ago

Why is it a cobbler recipe?

[-] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 4 points 5 hours ago

Those are crumbs not biscuits on top. It's an apple crumb pie, fairly standard if you dont want to put another pie dough on top.

If you don't want to make a universe, store-bought is fine.

[-] brygphilomena@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 8 hours ago

Skipping to store bought flourr? You'll need to first modify the grains natural seeds, plant, harvest, and mill your own.

[-] grue@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago

You need to evolve wheat from primordial soup.

Make sure a few stars die first in order to obtain those ingredients.

[-] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 4 points 8 hours ago

"Forget Jesus ... the stars died for you!"

I've somehow never seen anyone mention that π day is also Einstein's birthday, I only found out recently when I went to look for something else on his Wikipedia page

It's always an approach, if you want with 100.000.000 decimals, but I don't know if Lemmy permits to post it. Inmy studies I used 3 ^16^/~113~ as PI, which is precise enough.
