See if it accepts negative values

It's not a tip. It's for paying more to your account.

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 13 points 1 year ago

Why would you pay more?

The rent is agreed upon in a contract, why even bother with implementing that as an option?

Not sure but guessing like an advanced payment against your next month's rent, if you've got a bit of a windfall? Or if you're in arrears and have to make up a permitted shortfall from a previous month. I have always sublet so not sure.

Or if your lease has about fifty thousand infractions that could cause you to pay a fine, and, for some reason, zero infractions that could cause your landlord to pay a fine. (Also it's e-signature only, and cannot be amended by the tenant. is-this a contract?)

My last place tried to fine everyone in the complex if there was any trash next to the Dumpster.

It is still an account. If you get a windfall of money for some reason and you want to pay for an extra month ahead of time, you can do that. I have this option on my mortgage and phone bill as well.

There's a seperate field to fill out how much you want to pay or what percentage of your balance your want to pay though.

Can you ener a non numerical value?

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 13 points 1 year ago

I mean, you're not gonna get that security deposit back

Might as well let your landlord know to get fucked
