This is barely related but I once joked that there should be a Norwegian gay comedy called Odd & Even, because those are both common masculine given names here

As I looked up etymologies at Wikipedia I was ready to complain but the site delivered.
Odd (name) - In Old Norse the word means sharp end of an arrow or edge of blade.
Even (given name) - It can be theorized that the name has its origin in the Proto-Norse roots (*auja-, *-winduR) held to mean 'gift' and 'winner', respectively.^[citation^ ^needed]^
But I still wish every page had a "etymology" section - even if it's empty.
