The labor conflict against Tesla in Sweden is spreading to neighboring Denmark where transport workers with the country’s largest trade union said Tuesday they will take action in solidarity with Swedish workers against the Texas-based automaker.

Tesla is non-unionized globally, but the Swedish workers are demanding that the carmaker sign a collective bargaining agreement, which most employees in Sweden have. Tesla has no manufacturing plant in Sweden but has several service centers.

The United Federation of Workers in Denmark, known in Danish as 3F, said there had been speculation that Tesla would deliver its cars to Danish ports and transport them on trucks to Sweden after Swedish dock workers blocked the reception of Tesla cars there.

“I’m a free speech absolutist”

Union exercises their freedoms of speech, association, and expression

“Noooo, not not like that!”

"Everyone should be allowed to say whatever they want... As long as I agree with what they're saying."

Corporate money though? Definitely "speech" that needs to be defended.

I am ALL for this! But where's Norway with their solidarity? I think it would have a bigger impact, considering the Tesla density in Norway.

They're in talks about it, hopefully we'll see action soon. There was also an article in NRK (BBC equivalent state news) about Tesla (non factory) workers in Norway having bad working conditions and mulling unionisation, but the leadership there is anti-union so they have to do it in secret.

Den artikkelen hadde jeg ikke fått med meg, så takk for den! La oss håpe at det skjer noe før enn senere, så vi kan få ballen til å rulle.

So glad workers are standing up for their rights.

Good to hear. This is a great way to redistribute wealth from billionaires to workers.

Bonus when you can piss off Elon.
