This is genuinely the most exciting shit to ever happen in the time I've paid attention to our political theater. Hopefully the gravitational pull of all the rubes this is gonna activate widens the divide even more.

The feckless liberals does not have any positive project to offer people as an alternative to Trump. All they have is the claim that their guy is less bad than Trump. And even then they can't really talk about all the horrible things Trump did and wants to do that would affect ordinary people because they are themselves perfectly fine with those horrible things happening.
All they are capable of is being dorky hall monitors, clutching their pearls over Trump breaking the rules. Their strategy is to get Trump disqualified on a technicality, not to take him on in political struggle.
Liberals don't believe in organizing for political goals. That's crass and beneath them. They believe in some neutral third party who makes impartial correct decisions unrelated to political ideology

winning the last three election cycles is avoiding political struggle, and appealing to constitutional provisions to censure facially nondemocratic, unconstitutional actions, is being a dorky hall monitor, apparently.
Reminder that in the leadup to Lincoln's election he was blocked from Southern ballots and still won.
