Higher management being very unreasonable and unrealistic... Today they want to deploy several large modules that weren't even tested by QA(which is a huge red flag) and I never even had time to prepare for deployment because they kept rushing me to develop the thing.
I wanted to resign about 2 months ago(for the same reasons, but back then it wasn't THIS bad) but I decided against it. I should have resigned back then. 😑
And this is exactly how u make developers stop having passion for coding.

My brother/boss is such a compulsive liar and so manipulative i don't even know whether i can believe whatever come out from his mouth. It's especially annoying when something required his decision but i have to do the work, i don't even know what he said is true or not and that will impact the time required for the work if he lied about something that's just wrong. It's seriously tiring when I have to trust my gut instinct whenever listening to what he have to say.
It makes me wonder how the heck this shop is still floating when the management is such a shit show.

We are currently planning to hold off on the update until 0.18.1 comes out(which has captcha support), and 0.18.0 has some known bugs so we're not too keen on upgrading right now.

I think it's still kinda annoying tho haha. I don't like Jerboa's UI design so I went Thunder but it's missing certain features. I haven't tried the rest yet, but I find accessing monyet.cc via browser good enough. I do think that Jerboa is probably the best option currently tho
Yup yup, i also don't use Jerboa but still keep it installed. It does remind me of sync tho, but until then i'll just use the browser version. It's good enough for what it is.

It's usually on lowest end of my priority list. Yes even lower than budget for figurine. But i think i need a revamp and splurge abit on new set of working clothes. I suppose 1k should be sufficient?
I guess 1k these days would be ok, because I just realized most mid-range stuff can easily cost almost RM200/ea what more an actual tailored suit but those things should last a while... So 1k/year? Probably not...

Legit but I'm from the other side of Fedi so ppl there tend to say they like kbin more (similar logic) hahhaha, and might as well share the guide since it IS confusing. Apparently looking at fedidb the numbers are pretty high (like for both and other link aggregators are quite slower in uptake) - so Lemmy didn't get first mover bonus also. Then again they've been trying to clean up the numbers as well - spam accounts got on board all the aggregator instances pretty aggressively compared to the microblog softwares: https://fedidb.org/software/kbin
Yeah, when the migration first happened, the first one i heard is kbin, and lemmy only came into the conversation later on.
