I'm white. I used to be a racist. It took a reeducation and some traumatic life events to make me not a racist anymore. General rule of thumb I have for white people is that they're probably racist until proven otherwise. I can totally understand why poc would be suspicious of us.

Yup, the only way to unperson a white person the same way is to make them homeless then they immediately fall under the "animal" category alongside everyone else that suburban whites clutch their pearls about and rural white continually stock up a bunkers worth of small arms for (which they will likely shoot themselves with)
