Funny that Russia gets all "I feel threatened by NATO" bullshit is the same Russia who just sends death squads to other sovereign countries as they please. Truly a Mafia ran government.

If a psychopathic serial killer decided to be a leader of a nation, this is what you get I guess. Just be above the law.

Shot 8 times in the back. Putin says it's the worst case of suicide he's ever seen. ;)

He clearly should have come to the U.S.

They would have been able to kill him much more easily. And then Republicans would celebrate the killer as a hero.

They need to have witness protection for defectors now

Give them a new identity and possibly fake their death

That's the only way I can think off that would keep them safe

Perhaps that's what has happened here.

Actually, the more I think about it, I choose to believe he's dead.

In some small way, imagining him actually alive diminishes his sacrifice. He took steps that he knew might very well lead to his death, and he took those steps anyway.

On the off-chance that his death was faked and he's got a new identity, that's still at the expense of everything external to him that made him, him.

One way or another, Maxim Kuzminov sacrificed his life for a very good cause. One way or another, Maxim Kuzminov is dead.

May he rest in peace.

I hope a bit of Spain was worth it. Better than living hell in Russia, or exploding in the sky over Ukraine.

From what we know, he invited his ex to his place and was later found shot dead.

Well, that seems like a bad idea.
