You can only play Switch games on aging switch hardware nothing else.

People need to stop supporting Nintendo and other developers that employ unethical practices. I'm never buying a switch or any Nintendo crap probably ever. Fuck 'em.

I'd like to agree with you on this....

But I can't deny the fact they make good stuff...

I hate Denuvo but that is an interesting approach to compare the difference of behavior between the emulator and the original console. It means too that Nintendo is more concerned by the emulation than by switch hacking. I wonder if Nintendo will use them for their next system...

Nintendo makes money on their console sales as well. Sony and Microsoft use the loss leader approach and recoup their costs through game sales and licensing. Still a decent profit if you buy to pirate.

Except Nintendo has an easy way to protect against PC emulation: release their games on PC.

Yeah but who would buy their overpriced and under powered consoles then?

I wonder from a cost benefit analysis if even its even worth the effort. If someone is playing a game under emulation then most likely they never had the intention of buying the game. So what's the point of using anti-emulation checks? It's just an additional cost (and drag on development / testing) that doesn't translate into extra sales.

Sir, how dare you bring logic and sane rationality into the discussion? /s

It's like these people don't understand that people who emulate are very niche.
