Helldivers 2. It's the first online game I've played in like a decade. It's fun.
Helldivers 2 (PC/PS5, I play on PS5) and Splatoon 3 (Switch), primarily. Also periodically Rocket League (All, I play on PS5 and, though rarely, Switch).
I just got Helldivers II today, it's living up to the hype, lots of fun.
Guilty gear strive
I got a couple of friends into Baldurs Gate 3 and we've had a regular weekly game night going for over a month now it's been super fun
No Man's Sky! Currently recovering from surgery though so can't play, wish I had a steam deck, can't wait to check out that hexbear place there
awesome, we'd love to have you there!
PUBG honestly, but only because I made a couple good friends on there who are about 100-fold more fun to play with than the general public. As always, my tip for online multiplayer games is to proactively make friends with the tolerable teammates.
Just Helldivers right now. Played a ton of the first one back in the day (and Magicka before that) so it's exciting to see how successful this game as been.
Rocket league is my first and only online competitive love. When I went through my recent drama I lost about 6 months of being able to play it and I'm just now back to diamond 3 in doubles. I used to be a champ
GTA:SA multi player is all i play really but i havent played that in a month or longer, been too busy w work. Occasionally i play Eve Echoes if im in the bathroom but not often.
Im not a g*mer in the slightest.
i've seen some "collect every vehicle" MTA races periodically but if you join one someday, you know, don't tell us.
Conquerors Blade
Europa Universalis 4
Path of Exile
Way too much iracing.
Eve online, a truly horrific game.
I suck at competitive online games so I try to avoid them 😞
Street fighter vi. The game has basically consumed my life. I'm currently wrapping up a weekend at a tournament.
- Dota 2
- Starcraft: Brood war
- Starcraft 2
- Hearthstone (battlegrounds mode only)
Starcraft: Brood war
You love to see it.
One time I had a housemate who got into Brood War. I knew the game well and so I went zerg 1v1 against them one time. They were either terran or protoss, can't remember.
I feigned an abortive zergling rush which they beat back easily enough but not so easily that it felt unearned and, in the meantime, I went all-in on building bases in virtually every corner of the map. I had an immense economic base that my unit production couldn't keep up with.
They took a swing at my first base and had it on the ropes but I clawed it back and then on the recovery I steamrolled the base or two they had built. They thought it was a close game right up until they saw the map and realised that I had the whole damn thing stitched up.
Good times. They lost interest in playing against me tho lol.
yeah, it's amazing how complex and interesting Brood War is. I still love playing and watching/studying the game.
I wish SC2 could have lived up to it, but they took a huge chunk of strategic depth out of the game by making it so easy to control large armies and have everything move around smoothly. And all the campaign stuff feels like lame Marvel / main-stream young adult junk to me. I feel like it could have been absolutely amazing if it wasn't designed by capitalists.
I never even looked at SC2 tbh.
I imagine that this was the era of decline for Blizzard though. I recently heard that they completely fumbled the remake of Warcraft 3. How they could manage to do that idk but it's pretty astonishing.
One day we'll have socialist gaming studios who put out absolutely bangers consistently.
i've been really into elder scrolls online lately :]
F zero 99
For Honor
Street Fighter 6, Dead by Daylight, and hell divers 2 are all fire. Add me comrades @WefailedThepoor
Terraria and Titanfall 2
Played a bunch of GW2 recently (100% map completion in the main game and full mastery of one crafting discipline, took ~100 hours) but then burnt out.
Been doing my dailies in Genshin again and sort of breaking my "save the Primos for hot guys" rule for Arlecchino, to no avail.
Someone mentioned BDO works eith Proton now, so I might need to do some shitty-HDR grinding.
I've kept going back to Warframe for a decade now, so I'd generally recommend trying it. All the bits people actually play are PVE, and the community's generally pretty helpful. It does require heavy use of the wiki late game though.
I'm playing final fantasy xiv. Just got into the first expansion.
Aww yeah Heavensward is a bop. IMO FF14 gets better with each expac.
Hearthstone battlegrounds is the only game I have time for these days, and thankfully it hadn't gone to total shit yet.
I started playing Let It Die again
We're several months into dominions. I'm in too many games, but I should lose some soon I typically play for a few months starting in the winter, but I might stick with it this year for longer. It's just really fun watching your little guys fight. Also as I'm finally starting to get good at the game after years of playing it, I'm having a lot of fun trying out different builds and really getting into the nitty-gritty of scripting battles.
? how is this fedposting?
haha, yes, now that the U.S. state department knows what online game PoopShitterMarxFan69 plays the most, we will collapse the online left! HAHAHA!!!
i think they're just joshin'. i haven't played smite but i played a ton of heroes of the storm the first couple years it was out. this last year I've been playing ghosts of tabor pretty much exclusively
- Guilty gear strive
- Street fighter 3rd strike
- Street fighter 6
- Blazblue central fiction
Sometimes I play tetris on the tetris website :)
Unrailed! And occasionally Valheim
iRacing
Counter Strike, TF2, War Thunder. My usual 3
The only two online games I really have an interest in any more are FFXIV and OSRS, the latter of which has surprised me with how much I enjoy it. It’s a huge grind but it’s low commitment and you can pick it up and put it down at any time for however long without missing a beat. That’s refreshing in the modern digital age. The monotony is an acquired taste but I don’t mind it either. It ticks all of my autistic boxes to watch numbers go up and bars get filled, not to mention that ongoing isolation as a medically vulnerable person living in a society of Covid denial has made my mind very receptive to this simple, banal pleasure. Working slowly toward goals in a world that lets me be largely independent is nice. I don’t have to make connections with people who will disappoint/harm me to play a majority of the content, and I feel empowered to exist, unlike the real world or anywhere else I actually need to be sociable.
I have not felt the impetus to play much XIV, conversely, despite my love for that game and its world, because playing it makes me want to make friends, and I’ve been burned too much by that to continue. Maybe I’ll get over it eventually, but it is a deep trauma, so I don’t know.
…uh, video games
EVE-O (just liquidated assets for speculation items in anticipation of a busy IRL time)
DOTA 2 (the less said about it the better)
Path of Exile (click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click)
Bingus part 2
I don't play games. I just plow.
To make the joke work I'd have to play some sort of online farming sim, and I don't even know if there is such a game. I play Medieval Dynasty sometimes, which has farming in it, and it has a co-op mode, so it's an online game. See, perfect joke.
games
Tabletop, DnD, board games, and minecraft. Also Animal Crossing.
