Hades II.

It's so good

I have finished Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and have no idea where the "infinite wealth" part of the name comes from.

Having said that, since I started with Yakuza 7, I'm playing the rest starting at 0

It's unofficially Yakuza 8, 8 sideways = ∞ so they tried to find a title that would let them use that.

[-] dannoffs@hexbear.net 2 points 6 months ago

I'm pretty sure it's officially Yakuza 8, since the series in Japan has always been called "Like a Dragon" and over there Infinite Wealth is just called "Like a Dragon 8". I'm sure they could have come up with a better pun and they've really painted themselves into a corner for Like a Dragon 9's title.

If you like Pokémon and/or Roguelikes I recommend it. Play it before Nintendo figures out a way to nuke it from orbit.

Finally playing Disco Elysium. Fun stuff, can't wait to grind up the bourgeoisie.

Still Create Astral. My infinite lava lake finally filled up, I got infinite gold, bonemeal, and andesite fed into my AE2 network. Next is copper, tin, and silver, then I should be about ready to get back to actually progressing the tech tree.

kinda in between games atm but thinking about playing Doom (2016) or replaying RDR2 again.

mainly been playing my gacha games and doing side quests in Honkai Star Rail.

[-] dannoffs@hexbear.net 3 points 6 months ago

As a RDR2 hater, I say go for Doom.

just started getting into MTG: Arena because i am a girl full of bad ideas and an itch for card games

I finished Eiyuden about a week or two ago. Decided to spin up Suikoden 2 on emulator again. S2 is so much better. Eiyuden was a disappointment :/ Finished S2 today, though.

Gonna try out Crow Country next I think.

Grinding out the prestige mode on Going Under because I have terminal cheevo brain. The base game is sublime but prestige/imposter mode is honestly too hard. Thankfully it has an assist mode so I can just crank the difficulty down

[-] Blep@hexbear.net 1 points 6 months ago

I got like 2 or 3 in before giving up, even with the glitched keyboard.

So theres a keyboard in the crypto level boss room thats out of bounds, but still reachable. Its unbreakable, so when it runs out of durability it does the break animation with increased damage on every hit. It was to the point id just reset if i didnt get the the crypto level firsy

[-] RION@hexbear.net 2 points 6 months ago

Dang that woulda made things easier, just beat the final prestige last night

Still playing One Piece Pirate Warriors 3, it's still okay. Balance is fucked, which I guess is lore-accurate? Fujitora and Whitebeard in particular are OP as hell. Seems like 100% completion is an absurdly long grind because it requires you to get every NPC up to max crew rank, which means playing around 12 missions with them. The issue is that most of them are only available in the Dream Log mode which I've almost finished, where the NPCs on your team are random. There's a similar grind in bounties which are randomly spawned (you can buy some as well, but they are now too expensive for me to buy more than one every 5 or so missions and I still need 20+).

A friend picked up Stardew Valley so I joined them for a bit of coop. Mostly being the dedicated Fish Man since he'd rather just live in the mines. It's making want to play it again on my own, maybe actually finish my solo file and start on all the new post-game content.

Picked up Vicky 3 in the recent sale but haven't played it yet because I haven't had enough free time to really dig in, and unfortunately I'm probably going to be busy for the next while as well. powercry-2

Demon's souls and I can't for the life of me figured out where to go next on world 2

[-] riseuppikmin@hexbear.net 1 points 6 months ago

Phantasy Star Online BB (Ephinea), Phantasy Star Universe (Clementine), and Deep Rock Galactic this week.

This is in my short break between beating Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and soon starting Freedom Unite. I've almost beaten every monster hunter game now and am searching out adjacent-genre games so if people feel strongly about any please shoot them at me (private servers for stuff is fine too).

I wanna play Dragon Quest V or something but I am ONCE AGAIN sucked headlong into Tactics Ogre
