I'm good with that if it's prolonging the non-violent phase of the conflict, preferably to infinity...
I agree, as long as we agree on definitions for non-violence and violence. Conflict and violence are ongoing for so many. Violence is divestment in certain neighborhoods, policing, food apartheid, lack of safe water, lack of schools, lack of healthcare, increased job precarity, lack of infrastructure and public transit. There is a lot of violence but perhaps you don't agree on the violence that is already here and resolutely ignored by those in power.
Whatever you say, ambassador Spock.
Is this a real line? I don't remember it, but that's pretty hardcore for Spock.
Yes - i have commented the episode as a text to the image. S3:E16 I am currently stitching one more together by him from the same episode that was pretty deep!
Well damn! Sounds like it's time for another rewatch for me...
Honestly we need to use more Bio weapons
I assume this is a “Biden gEnOSiDe” thing?
Could be, and while it sounds profound on the surface, it falls apart when you realize diplomacy is a daily occurance. I can't even comprehend how many horrible things have been completely avoided due to tactful diplomacy by people we may never know the names of.
More a general loss of trust toward politics i guess.
Its a true line from the series though! S3 E16 where Spock has to deal with Gideon's leaders who seem to want to waste time while they expose one of their female specimens to Kiek
"Nothing justifies genocide." - Kira Nerys.
Not even mocking switched caps.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
